Welcome Message

" Soaring Into A New Beginning"

Welcome to a new exciting year at Niblack Elementary School. I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve as principal of Niblack: where teachers and staff members are dedicated to student safety and achievement.

Here at Niblack, our ultimate goal is to ensure that each child reaches his/her highest potential. Teachers and staff members are constantly seeking innovative strategies and professional  development to increase student achievement. This year we are in full implementation of the Florida Standards. At Niblack we capitalize on every minute of he school day, making it a teachable moment and providing bell-to-bell instruction.

We are proud to announce that we are also implementing a new positive behavior program this year - CHAMPS. Students are provided with expectations for C- Conversation, H-Help, A- Activity, M - Movement, P - Participation and S - Success.  These expectations are put into place for students to be successful throughout the school year.  We also have the "SOARING EAGLE MODEL" in which students earn Eagle Tickets for appropriate behavior and work habits to spend at the Eagle Store each nine weeks.

At Niblack Elementary we are student centered but standards driven!!!

We look forward to having your child at Niblack and welcome you to come SOAR with the Eagles!

See beyond today

Offer my best

Always commit to learning

Respect myself and others

Yours truly,

Nakitha Ivery

Principal
